| Hello all !! And thanks to William a couple years ago when he answered a
couple of my questions.
I did a search for Install centos 5.6 and rec'd no results..so I am a little
confused as I have only used the Windows version until now.
I would like to Install on my dedicated server *nix CENTOS 5.6 i686 standard
on my server, but have it placed in a "sub-domain" of an active website. And
have that named 'copy' for the subdomain
copy.mydomain.com
Is that possible?
At this point? I have the files "unzipped" and see that they are owned by
"root" at the moment
1) Do I need to "chown -R xxxx:xxxx *" those files?
2) I saw this post?
<http://forum.httrack.com/readmsg/27043/27042/index.html?q>=
But know the only dumb questions are ones not asked, so I am asking...so I
am not sure if I just need to do the last 2 lines of the above post or really
what to do to get it into a subdomain.
Thanks all in advance and Happy Sunday
Jim
