| There is a login form yes so I did the capture URL with proxy settings. This
works but I also have to enter my un & pw so that's why the URL is
un:pw@passfire.com...
I also tried just the URL capturing and not adding un:pw but that doesn't work
(obvious actually).
Actually, I think the logout link was a guess but might be wrong. I can't
really see a logout link as it uses javascript.
I changed url to www.passfire.com (although without the www it should work
too).
Yes, I receive the message "Link captured" in browser when using the login
capture.
I think HTTtrack just can't capture sites like these and the server actually
has a blocking script or something.
Take a look at this (old) thread answered by Xavier Roche
<http://forum.httrack.com/readmsg/6415/6414/index.html>
It's about Bad Requests, I think the same is happening here although my
browser ID is changed and downloading is very reasonable (1 conn/s, slow
download speed, ...)
I found another way to capture the website BUT it has to be done manually (lot
of work) and the links inside the documents don't point to other offline
files. I'm talking about MHT. I'll try and mess around with it to see if I can
make it work. Even if it has to be done this way, it's better than nothing but
I still would prefer the HTML version HTTrack outputs since all links are
linked to each other offline as well. | |
