tried again, with 'Get non-HTML files related to a link, eg external .ZIP or
pictures' checked (but /without/ adding 
<http://kch.vangorkum.com//shared/style/screen-ie.css> to 'Web
Addresses: (URL)').

result is the same, tho'; screen-ie.css is not saved locally, and the href is
not rewritten.
