| I'm not as computer savvy as most on here, so I'll tell you what I did for
brevity sake:
Used your software to copy a large recipe site, Punchfork, that Pinterest just
purchased. They are shutting Punchfork down in a few weeks and I wanted to
save the site for future reference, since it won't be there anymore
(conditions of the sale I guess.)
The site copied all night. I saw on this forum where it's located and to open
"index" to view. The site looks like it's trying to come up as if it's going
back thru Google Chrome to get there. It's sort of "shaky" looking, like it's
trying to load a lot of info - which it would be if going to the original
site.
My question is: do I have a copy of the site on my hard drive or does your
software continue to use the website to get the information for me to view?
Sorry for the length of this post, but I just want a copy of the site so it's
not lost when Pinterest makes Punchfork take their site down.
Thanks so much for helping this lowly cook who is not a computer geek. | |
