Subject: Mirror https OpenText Portal with NO login

I am trying to mirror 4 sites; two are http, and two are https. One of the http
sites is built on OpenText portal (formerly Vignette), as are the two that are
https.

The interesting thing is I was able to easily copy the two http sites, even
the portal one.  But the portal ones that use https  both give the same type
of error.  They have login forms on their homepages as well as complete
working menus and links (which don't require logins). Logins are only needed
to access client specific parts of the portal. But I want to copy the parts
that are open to everyone.

I have searched the forums and attempt several config options to no avail. 

Here is the error for one of the two https sites (their errors are the same):
