| Dear Xavier,
Thank you very much. I first tried using these filters:
+*.png +*.gif +*.jpg +*.css +*.js -ad.doubleclick.net/*-*
-* +*whitepapers*
-*?*
I added the -*?* to prevent querystring links from
downloading and that worked well. However, with those
filters I only got images that contained the word
whitepapers so then I tried using the filters you
suggested, which are:
-* +*whitepapers* +*.gif +*.jpg +*.png +*.css +*.js
-*?*
and that worked just fine. I got only links that included
whitepapers as well as all the images that go with each
html page. It seems like the order in which the filters are
listed is very important.
I think that it would be very useful for new users of
HTTrack if you would include an explanation of this
particular usage of filters in the filters section of your
help file.
Thank you very much for your help and for a great program.
Regards,
Peter Drakes
