This is so complicated. It turns out that the original download at the original
location on the HD only partially worked.

I've since deleted 4 separate tries adjusting things like # of levels, up and
down, in and external. Same issues. I'm going to delete again and re-download
using all default settings and report results and include the file content you
suggest. But, it will probably be tomorrow or late tonight before I can get to
it.
