Yes that's right - as unsecure as keeping a passphrase in
your home directory - but there is no real workaround
(except protecting and putting proper access rights),
especially because of automated jobs (such as commandline
jobs) - the same problem as with fetchmail (you have to put
all passwords in clear in .fetchmailrc - no real workaround
here, too)
