That _almost_ answers my question, as well
<http://forum.httrack.com/readmsg/33130/index.html>, but in my case, it's not
enough to merely exclude the external links from being mirrored; I want those
external links to be re-written so that later, when I view the mirrored files
in my browser, the browser doesn't attempt to fetch those items from the
Internet - and the easiest way for WinHTTrack to do that seems to be to have
it "localize" those external links as if the mirroring process had saved local
copies of those files, even though it hadn't.
Perhaps I'm not explaining my wishes clearly, but when WinHTTrack is done, I'd
like all the local files it created to be totally cleaned of outside
references, regardless of whether copies of those referenced files were
mirrored or not. Is there any way to use WinHTTrack to accomplish this? | |
