| Hi David,
Since you wrote in your post "of my forum", is this your forum? I don't need
an answer to the question nor do I want one, but I ask the question because if
you don't know exactly what you are doing you could cause considerable damage
to the forum if you are logged in as someone with any kind of administrator
rights. Even if it is not your forum and you have no administrator rights you
could still do damage to the forum, or just to your own account.
I have not logged into that forum since I do not have an account but I would
imagine that it has things such as 'delete' and 'edit' links for posts (even
just your own posts, if any). Those types of links would need to be excluded
from being mirrored by Httrack. But there would be additional links to
exclude, too.
In the Httrack log you posted you still have the default Browser ID being
used:
"Mozilla/4.5 (compatible; HTTrack 3.0x; Windows 98)"
It would be best to change the Browser ID.
As to your question, if the logout URL is used within some type of "form" I
don't think Httrack would be able to access it. I haven't ever seen what the
forum uses for logging out but if you don't see a logout link when you are
logged in then the logout link might be buried in some type of form.
I don't mean to come off as sounding preachy at the beginning of this post,
but proceed very carefully would be my advice. My two cents anyway.
