hi

I have mirrored a website and the mirror took 55 minutes.  I then ran --update
and the update ran for 4 hours before I forced it to quit.

Looking at the log, there's huge gaps between actions e.g.

15:29:25	Info: 	engine: check-html: <https://blah>

15:29:48	Info: 	engine: transfer-status: link recorded: <https://blah>

it seems as if the program is doing nothing for a large amount of time!

any idea what's wrong?
