Subject: How to do a "slow" backup of an internet site...

Hi,

my problem is to mirror a very weird internet site. For some reason, his
author collected a lot of useful stuff but, when someone try downloading
things, it slow down the download, cut the bandwidth / ban the IP. I assume
it have a BAN list with about half the internet :D

Not arguing about WHY put online such stuff and blocking downloading (a total
NONSENSE), I'm searching a way to do a sort of "stealth" download - something
VERY SLOW, some files at day, at casual times, to mirror that site.

It doesn't matter if I will do this in 1 or 2 years - the important thing is
to MIRROR that site.

Does anyone have some hint? I can't find nothing useful in httrack
documentation about something so stealth :/
