| Hi,
I've seen several messages in this forum complaining that
shtml files are saved with the ".html" extension instead of
".shtml".
I have exactly the same problem. Apparently, HTTrack
normally substitutes the links with the .html links, unless
it cannot do it because the links are generated with
JavaScript (or otherwise). Actually, this is the case with
the Web pages I want to mirror.
However, all linked Webpages with .shtml extensions were
downloaded successfully; if I rename them manually from
.html to .shtml it works fine.
So, the questions is: can I somehow set HTTrack to not alter
the extensions for .shtml pages?
It would help me a lot,
thanks. | |
