I've tried downloading a website several times, but even though it's a small
site, it downloads upwards of 50G worth of stuff, and when I try to open the
(unfinished) mirror to see what's going on, it's terribly broken and looks
nothing like the actual website.

I've used httrack to mirror sites before, and I've never had this problem.
What could I be doing wrong?
