| I'm using WinHTTrack version 3.49.2, on Windows 10 Home 64-bit Edn, with Chrome
configured as my default browser.
My Internet connection works WITHOUT proxy.
I need to mirror an EdX MOOC, which can be accessed only by password
authentication, and I believe the authentication is "form-based". I followed
the instruction given in the "catchURL tutorial". However, when I enter my
credential and click on the "Sign in" button on the website's login page,
instead of getting the success-message "Link captured into HTTrack...", I am
getting "An error has occurred, check your internet connection and try again".
However, some file is indeed getting generated, by name "hts-post0". So, if
this ignore the error, and proceed with the rest of the procedure, I am only
finding that the downloaded pages are not going past the login screen.
Some more details: In WinHTTrack, when I click on the "Capture URL" button,
WinHTTrack provide me with "fe80::95fe:1092:77d3:87dd" as the Proxy's address
to be configured into the browser. Is this address correct? It seems to be
suspect to me.
Also, please note that even though Chrome is my default browser, I am trying
to perform the controlled login in my Firefox, after configuring Firefox to
point to the proxy suggested by WinHTTrack.
Could you please help me? | |
