This is normally the default behaviour when starting 
from the top (/) index
Ensure that robots.txt aren't used (see the FAQ), and 
if you want to limit the scope to the website, and not 
images that might be located outside, use:

-* +www.yourwebsite.com/*

But, if there are missing files, it might be a 
robots.txt problem (or a javascript problem is complex 
javascript is being used in the website)
