Anything is possible :D

Not certain, but it's possible that the CSS and background images were not
downloaded locally, but rather externally linked and now that they've been
moved and your broswer/ISP cache have cleared them out, you're not seeing all
the bells and whistles. 

Check the source of that index.html - are there links leading out, like
<http://forum.httrack.com/readmsg/39855.png> instead of
../forum.httrack.com/readmsg/39855.png ?
