How do I configure HTTrack such that it only copies page 1 
and 2 of the thread? Others are not required.

I tried the inclusion filter that states that "Links on 
Domain containing pagenumber=*" with the exclusion filter 
on all links but I only get page 1 of the thread without 
copying the second page.
