Humm did you try Options/Filters, such as:
-* +www.heise.de/newsticker/foren/go.shtml?list=1&forum_id=*
 +*.gif +*.jpg +*css +*.js

?
NOTE: Please setup **reasonnable** settings when 
downloading groups, as it tend to overload remote servers: 
1 or 2 simultaneous connection, and 1 connection per second 
maximum.
