How does this not cause too much overhead. When I have a
>40Mb mirror, and I begin to update it, then interrupt, I
end up with a few meg of files. Since this site doesn't
change much, re-downloading 37 meg of data seems like a
huge amount of overhead considering I only have a dialup
connection. Why are the files deleted anyway? I thought an
update would just check files for changes and re-download
them if changed, plus adding new files since the last
mirror operation.
Sorry if I'm being a pain. I really like httrack and have
used it a lot. However this is the first time I've tried an
update. And yes I would use the --continue switch, but
haven't got to that point yet. Still trying to work out why
all my files are deleted! | |
