In fact, you should have used

and not
safariexamples.informit.com/078972667X

Because safariexamples.informit.com/078972667X is treated 
by httrack as the "078972667X" file in the 
safariexamples.informit.com/ structure, and 
safariexamples.informit.com/078972667X/ is treated as 
the "/" file in the safariexamples.informit.com/078972667X 
structure

And, because httrack always tries to stay in the same (or 
lower) directory, starting from 
safariexamples.informit.com/078972667X implied to mirror 
everyting on the same level..
