I am a bit lost, I have spent 2 hours trying various ways 
to copy a site to my PC. I just need the copied version to 
be local and all links and assets should work locally.

Then I would copy the whole site on a CD and it should work 
there as well.

Can someone provide a step by step guide to copy a website 
like www.xxxxx.com/abcd/ locally while parsing all the urls 
to work completely locally (links, images, html, cgi, etc.)?
