| I tried to use the "Add URL" / "Capture URL" method to get
into a site that uses form based authentication. It appears
that HTTrack got the form when I submitted the page because
the HTTrack "Catch URL" dialog goes away and the "Insert
URL" dialog appears with
"10.1.2.17:443?>postfile:C:\Users\Work\Websites\TestWeb\hts-post0" in
the "URL:" field. However, inspection of the 'hts-post0'
file shows no login info for the form:
"
CONNECT / HTTP/1.0
User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.01; Windows NT
5.0; MyIE2)
Host: 10.1.2.17
Content-Length: 0
Proxy-Connection: Keep-Alive
Pragma: no-cache
"
Also, the help info says that HTTrack should give a page to
the browser that tells the user that the form was captured.
I never see that HTTrack generated page ; only the form
page remains as is.
Why is HTTrack having a problem with this ? | |
