Err.. a more reliable way is to look at the html code. 
httrack automatically inserts a comment tag ; such as:

<!-- Mirrored from www.linuxdoc.org/HOWTO/Laptop-HOWTO.html 
by HTTrack Website Copier/3.x [XR&CO'2002], Fri, 01 Feb 
2002 11:22:12 GMT -->

This allow to find the original site location if you lost 
the cache ; and to know the exact mirroring date for backup 
purpose.
