I have been looking at this functionality for some time now.

What is the best way to continue a download at a later 
time, from where I left off? This feature is specially 
needed if the download is big(>50 MB) and it doesn't make 
any sense to waste so much time in repeating the 50 MB 
download and then continuing ahead.

How is this feature implemented?
