The only potential problem might be cookies, or a 
different authentication scheme. 

The username:password@address format is ONLY valid 
for "basic authentication", and NOT for form based 
authentication, which requires the use of the "capture 
URL" feature from HTTrack/WinHTTrack
(form based auth can be detected easily - the login 
page has a "submit" button, instead of an alert box)
