Hi

Set the project up as you likely have with the specified 
directory in the URL box. Click on Set Options and then the 
Scan Rules tab

In the rules box, have something like:

-http://www.yourweb.com/*
+http://www.yourweb.com/*.jpg
+http://www.yourweb.com/*.gif
+http://www.yourweb.com/*.png
+http://www.yourweb.com/*.bmp
+http://www.yourweb.com/*.css
+http://www.yourweb.com/*.js
+http://www.yourweb.com/*.swf
+http://www.yourweb.com/iwantthissubdir/*
-*.zip
-*.sit
-*.grd

And that might do it.
