maybe you overlooked my item #4:
4. yet, other similarly located files do get correctly
rewritten links.
you state
<http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/cdm/index.htm>
is "out of default scope". if this is the case then why do
others like
www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/dsl_prod/6160/hwguide/05inappc.htm
rewrite just fine?
