Bug found on the REMOTE (network54.com) website: 
if "Accept-Encoding: identity" is used, then the 
server does not give any response, and therefore the 
first page is empty.

I'll try to remove the "Accept-Encoding: identity" as 
this field is normally not required. (but might cause 
other related problems)
