| > WebHTTrack on Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003?> Has anyone tested this?
Well, first applications for Windows CE (aka Windows
Mobile) have to be specifically compiled for this
environment, and for a number of procesors (arm, mips..).
Therefore Windows applications will NEVER work natively on
these systems.
Besides, even if there are some WIN32 functions available
on CE, many standard functions (Ansi-C or POSIX) are just
missing, and programs like HTTrack, not designed only for
Windows but for all archs (including Linux, Unix, ..), will
just NOT compile at all.
The current experimental HTTrack release can be compiled on
CE 2003, using the celib compatibility layer, but the
engine crashes for other reasons: very weird alignement
behaviour from the compiler, limited stackframe size, and
so on..

If you want to use HTTrack on an embedded system, the best
choice is to buy a Linux-powered embedded machine: the
compatibility should be near perfect.
Or wait for the upcoming x86-style embedded archs that are
rising.
