Hello! :-)

I'm trying to download a website, but I'm getting those
warnings in my log-file and only bogus files.

I know for sure it's not a 404, because I can download the
files via Internet Explorer.

I guess it's some kind of protection, but if its not that,
is there anything else I can try?
