| Hello there...
My name is David Mahoney and I live in Melbourne,
Australia.
HTTrack is absolutely wonderful, but can anyone tell me if
there is a function which allows us to actually check the
total size in megabytes (or gigabytes for that matter!?)
of any given web-site, BEFORE we start to download it for
offline browsing?
The reason I ask is that my Son wanted me to download the
entire X-Box website, so I said..."sure, why not?"
WELL...after it had gotten to about 57 megabytes and still
had ages to go, I decided to STOP the download!!
Foe ME (and I am sure for many other people), it is very
necessary to check the size of any web-sites before we
download them, as some of them are HUGE and in my case,
would push me over my monthly megabytes download LIMIT,
placed on me by the I.S.P. that I use!!
Someone PLEASE do respond...as it has occurred to me that
even if HTTrack cannot "analyze" web-site size prior to
download, you good people may know of some program,
preferably FREE, that we can download that will analyze
total web-site size for us before we decide to use
HTTrack!?
I look forward to hearing from someone soon!!
Kind Regards: DAVID MAHONEY.
