Well, not much. The best way to protect yourself is to 
register you work (CDrom, for example) to an official 
entity (specialised firm, or legal departement)

As an example, in Europe there are some kind of legal 
deposit system, where you can send data material. You get a 
proof (signature and date) in return of some deposit fees. 
In case of violation of your work, you can request this 
official entity to give proofs of anteriority.

Offline readers can help you to collect your "web" data, 
but it will not certify that _you_ own these data.
