No, no - it should contains the html result of the asp
files. The cache always contains "raw" HTML result from the
remote server.

Hum, this is not possible easily. You can't "mix" old and
new files easily.
What you can try:
- backup the existing project folder
- erase the hts-cache/new.* entries (so that old.* entries
can be used instead)
- rerun (win)httrack and select "continue an interrupted
mirror" (NOT "update")
This may work if important links are not missing remotely..
