HTTracker is a rather powerful and comprehensive package 
which appears intended for full-blown "mirroring" rather 
than downloading images.  

I downloaded a much simpler program (from a user's 
perspective) for grabbing just images.  It seems to work 
rather well, provided only html links exist on the page in 
question - I am not sure how it would handle javascript, 
asp, jsp, etc.  You may find it easier than using 
HTTracker, though I am sure that you could accomplish your 
task with either program.
