I believe httrack can't do it because the solution might create problems for
other types of forms in other websites.

As the source code for httrack is given out. You may add your source code to
httrack. Thus, you won't have to do
all the httrack work to have a good offline website!

Furthermore, you may share the code with other httrack users if you wish.
