I was having the same trouble. WebHTTRack wouldn't run at all on my Ubuntu 7.04
box.

I ran the following in a terminal window:
sudo update-alternatives --set x-www-browser /usr/bin/firefox

Then when I ran WebHTTrack again, it worked perfectly.
