Subject: codepage problem with german encoding

Hi all,

I have a problem when mirroring a german website which uses the special german
characters like ä ö ü. After mirroring they are replaced with a ? sign.

The spidered page has a iso-8859-1 encoding declaration.

I am sorry, I think this is a conveniant problem but still I did not find a
solution in the past forum posts. There were posts talking about
LANGUAGE_CODEPAGE and language files, but I cannot find them on my system. I
am running httrack on a debian server system, which I have installed by
"apt-get install httrack".

Any help would be really appreciated. Thank you

Bernd
