Of course it does. Since you limited the depth, the remaining files are no
longer part of the mirror. Those files will be deleted at the end and the
links will point to the site, not to non-existent files.

Update usually proceeds at about 3 files per second independant of size.
Exception for dynamically generated files which must be redownloaded.
