I want to download a forum.

I have a username and a password. I first tried to add the url and then
entered my user and pass. Then I opened the login site and then changed my
proxy settings. Then I entered the login data and clicked on login. However,
this did not work. So I think I need the other authentification. Therefore I
added a username:pass after the http:// and added an @ sign before the www. So
this would be the HTTP login. However, this does also not work? I also added a
-*/forum/signout to filter the logout.

When I check the result I can see that the log in did not work. I only see the
webpage with the login, not the forum.
