Subject: How do I setup exceptions for top level domains?

example:
I need to download all of a sub domain of A, that links to
A's top level domain, but I only need to download files
with "filename_a" on the top level domain.

How do I set this up?
If I use a scan rule like so:
+*filename_a*
-A's top level domain

nullifies the first rule by not allowing download of any
links on the top level domain in the second rule.

The travel mode also doesn't seem to have an option to stay
on sub domains, & to allow certain files to be accepted on
the top level domain.

Much thanks for help,
chris :O)
