OK, so for the interim (until a fix), Here is the problem, and how to handle
it:

1. When someone wants to see if the forum has addressed an issue before posing
a new topic, a search using the embedded search may not be helpful due to ads
showing up at the top, and no search results available to view.

2. A work-around is to do your own site search:
  <http://forum.httrack.com/> <topic1> <topic2> 
Note: AND and OR operators can be used in the search (use spaces between
topics and operators, and operators must be all caps).
