Subject: FQDN vs. short hostname in URLs

First, this is a great program! It does 99% of what I
needed right from the start to mirror our intranet site.
The problem I have is that because there are many authors
in the site, there is inconsistency in the URL's and I'm
getting multiple directory trees. For example, the top
level index page could be specified as:

"/index.html"
<http://www/index.html>
<http://www.intranetsite.com/index.html>

Is there a way to alias www => www.intranetsite.com to help
standardize the links and directory tree and avoid
duplicates?
Thanks,
Mark
