I don't know if it will help you, but I use a "master" with
HTML only of the different parts of the site.
Then I have a few mirrors I update from time to time with
all the files of the subdirectories I'm interested in.
I copy these subfolders to the "master".
Then I update the "master" and usually all the links are
relative after that.
