as a testament to the legitemacy of products such as this...

Voltayre's Encyclopedia Xenobiologica used to be one of the
most popular Babylon 5 reference sites back in 1997-98.
In '98, it went offline, and between then and 2003, even
the original creator of it had lost his copy of it (atleast
that's what I interpreted an email to mean). Thus, the
only copies available on the net or even to the creator
were the incomplete ones on archive.org (which, btw, does
the same thing as httrack) or a modified mirror that was in
russian.

Though it took some effort, I was able to find two people
who had made archives with Teleport Pro (was httrack around
back then?), asked the orig. creator for permission to host
it, and now something that had seemingly been lost,
forever, was available to the masses, once again.
