Humm, well, why not. But the best thing IMHO would be (like 
in this reply) to leave quoted interesting parts so that 
the thread can be followed even by mail. Besides - in a 
long thread, the last message preceeding wouldn't be 
sufficient, probably.

But anyway, the suggestion is added for a potentially 
future improvement.
