The backling is probably *NOT* part of the "default mirror 
scope". If you mirror <http://foo.example.com>, backlinks to 
<http://example.com> or <http://www.example.com> won't be taken 
in account, even if the content is the same.

To solve the problem, you'll probably have either to use 
the "main" site address (www.example.com) or use scan rules 
to widen the default mirror scope.
