Hum, it might be interesting to see if these (updated) 
files will be erased if a crash+scandisk occurs - can 
you give some feedback if it happends again?
(BTW your machine seems quite unstable, even for a 
Windows-based PC. Have you checked the processor fan 
and/or other fans? It is a common cause of crashes..)
