content management system (www.direct.gov.uk). It has many external links
which get saved as seperate HTML files and as of last week there were 4480 of
these created. Each of those files displays a "Click here..." hyperlink and

external link files so that the content pages just go to the external link
rather than these intermediary pages?

I suggest you upgrade to the lastest version 3.33 and try again (just make a
quick sample project to test). These redirect pages were something of an
issue in the past but it might be okay in 3.33.
