Subject: Stopping external links being saved as HTML files

I currently use HTTrack 3.31 to download a copy of a site created with a
content management system (www.direct.gov.uk). It has many external links
which get saved as seperate HTML files and as of last week there were 4480 of
these created. Each of those files displays a "Click here..." hyperlink and
the page is set to automatically take you to the actual external link after a
few seconds. Is there a way to stop HTTrack from createing all these external
link files so that the content pages just go to the external link rather than
these intermediary pages?
I did try checking the "no external pages" option under the Build tab (in Set
options) but it still creates all the HTML files but now instead of going to
the site automatically the pages say "Oops!... This page has not been
retrieved by HTTrack Website Copier."

I do not want these 4000+ pages created. I want the pages containing those
external links to just list the link. Any ideas?
